Welcome to the FICPA South Dade Chapter ‘s Website! As an integral part of the Florida Institute of CPAs, our main purpose is to further the best interests of the profession and members.

Who We Are

We cooperate with the institute in its overall operations.  We adopt and promote the local public relations programs and professional development programs based upon the Institute’s programs.  We are the medium by which members of the accounting profession in the local area may become acquainted, exchange views and work through the organization for the benefit of the profession. 

Our main purpose is to advance the profession and its members through professional meetings for the discussion and exchange of experiences and opinions and to consider problems and topics of interests to CPAs. 

We are also a medium through which local matters that seem to require statewide or national attention or action be submitted to the Executive Committee for its consideration, and to enhance the public’s perception of the profession via educational and community service activities.

We hold our monthly meetings at Ciudamar Reception Room, located at 9950 SW 104 Street, Miami, FL 33176. Our attendee demographics are CPAs working in tax practices, sole practitioners, large regional public firms, industry and government, and financial services. Some of these individuals perform audits and reviews, and almost all do taxes and compilations.

We annually sponsor a number of educational scholarships for local accounting students through the FICPA Educational Foundation.
